Current Mazda vehicles seem to be competent rental cars. Not something to take home. Mazda seems to be missing all of the detail work.

I see nothing wrong with 7 or 8 speeds. My Wrangler is 6 and I wish there was one more gear up high to bring the highway revs down. My GC is 8 and I like the lower revs on the highway.
