False. At no point in the rant does he mention his business.
False. At no point in the rant does he mention his business.
So when he said “I was on food stamps and welfare” he wasn’t referring to food stamps and welfare?
Are you kidding? Please tell me you’re kidding.
Oh wow, the left doesn’t conform to your ideas about them? shocking!
Probably someone should have done their research BEFORE writing a possibly-racist column?
This actually marks the first time that I read “Fired officer had troubled past” in a news article.
If both Keith and Ron were there, the count is at least 9.
What’s that? That’s the sound of you and logic colliding.
No, my logic is that THEY cannot remove you.
False, your boarding is complete once you have a seat.
Something that happens .01% of the time is ‘common’?
Maybe you should think before you type, YOU are boarded, the PLANE is not.
You, sir, are the ill-informed person. You cannot be taken off a plane you already boarded unless you are a disruption or committed an act of terrorism.
Violating the carriage agreement is ‘common practice’?
HE HAD ALREADY BOARDED!
The problem here is that the passenger had already boarded and doesn’t have to say yes to the $800.
No they do not have the right. The contract of carriage states that once you have boarded you cannot be removed except for disturbance or terrorism. Does “Our pilot needs that seat” fall into either of those categories?
So you’re saying that United needs to learn to grow up and deal with adversity? Good.
Your analogy fails because in the airline’s case, he’s already paid. In the restaurant case, he hasn’t.
He wasn’t trespassing. He had a valid boarding pass. He was not ‘required’ to leave by law. They could’ve picked someone else. Instead, the computer said it had to be him, and they decided to escalate the situation needlessly.
