He is an absolutely insane anti vaxxer. John Oliver did a section on RFK a few months ago, here’s the link. His anti vax history starts around 15 minutes into the video.

In 2016 there were still adults in the room to talk him out of it. They’re all gone now. Anyone with a shred of decency or sanity has been forced out or has retired, and Trumpster will only pick the most craven and spineless sycophants for his second administration. He’s also noticeably more senile. There’s no…
Trump alone = rough but survivable.
What bothers me the most is that he absolutely has the Senate, likely has the House, and absolutely completely owns the Supreme Court, there will be almost no checks on anything he wants to do, outside of truly extreme examples whatever trash he pushes out is going to happen. Social Security, Medicare, ACA…
With RFK in that position, I think, “what changes could he affect?” In my mind, a first step could be “let’s make childhood vaccines totally optional for public schools”. That, coupled with the threat of eliminating the Department of Education altogether, has me really concerned. It sets the stage for re-emergence of…
Did you read what I wrote?
Gotta disagree. They will blame everyone but themselves. Also they know they can get away with nearly anything as long as the president will pardon them.
As others have said, the effects will shape the country for decades. I do not expect many of those effects to be positive.
We’ve got about 5 years left to make drastic changes before we cross the climate tipping points that separate “simply bad” from “catastrophic.” The US is not only one of the biggest contributors to global warming, but still sets an example too. Trumpster will pull us out of the Paris accords again, gut the EPA, repeal…
RFK scares me the most. Walker won't get anywhere. Elno has proven himself unwilling to do the hard work time and time again. RFK however was an actual ecological lawyer with a proven track record. Assuming he actually wants the job, he could be competent.
There's a gigantic factor that you're forgetting. During the first term Trump had sane people who would tell him "No" when he wanted to do something insane. This time it's his victory lap and he's going to surround himself with ass kissers and yes men. And unfortunately his people will pass the Senate because they…
You couldn’t give me a Tesla at this point. If someone did, I’d light it on fire.
Musk is a traitor and should be shot to death
I should also add. The first Trump term was terrible for my company. We got screwed hard by tariffs the first time around. It was difficult and expensive for us to secure the things we needed. Lots of raw goods are made in China and India which are then finished here. Because of tariffs and scarcity input costs like…
I’m in the same boat as you.
Sadly, no. There is a housing shortage and mass deportations will make it worse. Deregulation will not crater the housing market. It will get worse as no one will hold the corporations who do mass neighborhood buys to account and there will be fewer workers to build houses to fill the void.
Dream on. Mass deportations will halt any chance of correcting the low housing supply. The economy will tank AND houses will continue to be unobtainable.
The markets jumped this morning because Republican. Tesla jumped because Musk/Trump cuddling. If Trump actually follows through on his promises of mass deportation and tariffs, that is a lethal combination of inflationary pressures. From an economic policy perspective, Trump is going to push us off of a cliff. I…
Now that number will include the entire world, starting with this country, once the tariffs kick in and the economy crashes in the midst of a global trade war. Add aggressive deregulation and dismantling of what the right calls the “deep state”, and we won’t have clean air or water, food safety will disappear…
May they both rot in hell.
