Honestly, it’s cool to see these instances of solidarity.

Indeed. Pip, pip, Isaac, you are quite bootless and unhorsed.

That’s how she paid for the pool at her Dreamhouse.

And then Paul Ryan tried to deny ever saying he liked RATM.

Michael may have a long list of reasons to beat the shit out of Bob, with spousal abuse only the latest entry on that list.

I’m sure having to deal with the busiest day of the week at your job, while also having to deal with the fact that your coworker committed a disgusting and heinous crime, would be “really devastating” for all the employees. Not sure why you’re coming for the guy who owns a spa that formerly employed someone everyone

All the counseling in the world doesn’t mean shit if you won’t admit your criminal actions are, in fact, criminal.

If you see an anti drug Florida shark campaigning against boy sharks who dress like girl sharks, rest assured, their closet is full of white powder and delicate frillies.

As far as accountability in the “party of personal accountability” this tracks. Why resign and admit fault when it’s easier to double down and pretend nothing is wrong!? Him saying what he did isn’t criminal while a court date is scheduled is totally on brand.

There’s not a ton of context to that statement, but it does make me feel like both of them are hot heads.

As of March, that’d be Sir Brian May to you, peasant.

Reminds me of Paul Ryan being a huge Rage Against the Machine fan or Chris Christie being a huge Bruce Springsteen fan, both of whom were eventually told to fuck off by the respective artists. Actually now that I think of it The Boss has had to tell everyone from Reagan to Trump to not use his songs at their rallies.

The small business owner was asked a question by a journalist (you should look up what that is!) and answered it. He wasn’t pushing himself forward, he didn’t say or imply he was most affected by it. In fact, he didn’t use the first person singular at all in the bits you quoted.

A $1 increase from a service that hasn’t raised prices in over a decade is bleak? Have you been outside at all since 2016? (Also, quit making me defend end-stage capitalism, goddammit.)

Especially odd when you consider that there was an actual, self described, empire in that war, and it wasn’t the Americans. It also ignores the entirety of the Second Sino-Japanese War, in which the Empire of Japan was the aggressor and started three and a half years before Pearl Harbor.

“...denial of my own implication in the horrors of American imperialism...”

I wish Gerwig had the guts show Barbie delaying the court cases of mesothelioma victims for years until they died off so the asbestos company she represented wouldn’t have to pay out as much compensation.
