Right-wing media: “Hey! Here’s this action/drama about a federal agent who’s trying to stop child traffickers!”

Conservatives believing literally any stupid shit.

To expand on the House of Dragon blurb:

They’re legitimately some of the dumbest, weakest motherfuckers in existence.

I love when a weird religious/right wing conservative movie comes out every few years and the cave gremlins emerge from their qanon caves go to the movies and then complain about stuff that normal people have been experiencing for years like it's a massive conspiracy against them.

So here’s the thing.

“My cameo appearance was less fulfilling than my starring role.”

It may not make a difference for you, but despite being a two parter, this movie does definitively end. It’s not like most recent examples of ending the first half when there’s still half a story left to tell. It seems more like two stories about the same problem. It’s maybe a few shades more explicit about continuity

I feel like I have a fragile handle on things that’s probably about the best that could be expected by an engaged non-physicist viewer. Short answer is basically yes. Following the film, he’s basically been working for and with him for years and they accomplish many missions in the future. The guy that we see in the

Also, the “big moment” is “awe-inspiring.” (We’re trying to go in totally clean, so we have no idea what that could possibly be referring to.)

You’re the one who is discounting the characters’ motivations towards wanting to see the other live and attributing the outcome to a zero-sum game the writers are playing as some kind of weird commentary on childless women.

every internet commenter jumps out of their seats to criticize Marvel unless the criticism has something to do with women or minorities

‘Girls etc...’

My dude, I think you missed a lot there:

What do you mean, “Clint won”? He lost! He was trying to sacrifice himself, too. The writers write the characters, yes, but they wrote both Natasha and Clint as wanting to sacrifice themselves for the other, because they were besties who truly love each other, which, by the way, I have always thought was pretty cool.

Anyone who thinks that Nat sacrificed herself because the writers of the movie wanted to say she was less worthwhile than Clint is just looking for something to be outraged about.

The fact that this terrible thing that was done to her without her consent contributes to why Hawkeye’s life is more valuable than hers (he has a family) is a double blow.

She chose to die, that’s true, but she fought Clint for the right to go over the cliff because he had a family to go back to and she didn’t. As we learned in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, she’s incapable of having children, thus her life is determined to be worth less than his. She sacrificed herself to save the world, but

I meant Candace Cameron Bure who uses Miss Benny’s full name about a dozen times in her statement instead of using a pronoun for a trans woman.

She worked overtime not to use a pronoun in her statement....
