“Hey, do you think this green make-up might make you look like you’re in blackface?”

I don’t care what else she’s done - we’re talking about this incident here, and your assertion that:

She shouldn’t wear “dark makeup” because dark green is just like dark brown?

Regardless, the decision to perform the song wearing dark face paint was ill-advised,

It’s not apologism to note that a bad person demonstrably did not do a specific bad thing. Hitler is not the Zodiac Killer. If you want to call that a defense of Hitler, OK I guess.  But it’s just the case that Hitler is not the Zodiac Killer.  Ballinger is not wearing blackface in the video.

You are oddly invested in this.

Can we talk about that other dogshit Star Wars article here? I k ow it’s not on you guys as writers, but G/O should quite frankly be embarrassed by what it spat out. Riddled with basic errors, editorially dull (it literally follows the same sentence structure for each movie).

Correction: They have to pay residuals for it being there. Whether anyone watches it is irrelevant. Streaming residuals are based on the size of the subscriber base to who could stream it, not the viewership who actually does.

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One isn’t the best Mission Impossible movie yet, but it’s one of the better ones.

...What?

Ahh no they havent been. People knew Musk was going to trash Twitter, and he has. They knew he let back in trolls and traitors, and he has. They knew he would attempt to monetize it and fail badly, which has come to pass. Pretty much no one thought it was just going to stop.. it was always going to fade away steadily

Her death isn’t a fridging as it doesn’t motivate anyone or move their story forward.

I feel like this has always been the MO of the MCU. For all the interconnectedness, the stories are self-contained to the point of stepping on each other’s toes fairly regularly (much like regular comics).

Patiently waiting for the day Elon Musk is no longer relevant. That will be a glorious day, indeed.

She spelled it out above. When the bad guys killed her, they said a word, which would be completely in character for them, but also completely unnecessary in a popcorn flick.

“the third installment of Denis Villeneuve’s proposed Dune trilogy will be an adaptation of Dune Messiah.”

Ford is replacing the late William Hurt as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross. Though we were wondering why Sam Elliott, who originated and crushed the role in Ang Lee’s Hulk, isn’t taking over, now we know why.

Disney hasn’t had a bonafide hit that didn’t require an asterisk this year.

I don’t understand what’s stopping anybody from talking about a great show weeks and months later, either.
