There’s probably an assembly edit of all the stuff Snyder shot, but it’s probably full of redundant material and unfinised or nonexistent effects. The idea that there’s a more or less 100% complete “Snyder cut” of JL sitting on a WB hard drive somewhere seems highly unlikely.

Who’s the audience for this?

People who hated what Barr has become aren’t going to watch, and people who agree with Barr’s politics aren’t going to tune in to a show without her.

I Saw the Devil is the shit.

I REALLY liked A Tale of Two Sisters, it was pretty well made and the plot twist was pretty great... then we got the american adaptation, which felt soulless.

Thank you, I mentioned this in another comment. I would add The Quiet Family, which was remade in Japan by Takashi Miike as The Happiness at the Katakuiris (but it is almost unrecognizable in Miike’s very unique style).

You dismissed Rurouni Kenshin, which was excellent. In Hollywood, Edge of Tomorrow is a very decent manga/light novel adaptation. There’s also a slew of shoujo manga adaptation as Korean TV drama. Heck, GTO was pretty good.

Responding as she did to a “comedy questionnaire” *is* the humor.

The swirling blue mass at the start of the vision had blue planets. At the end of the vision the station fires a blue beam through a ring (not necessarily the same one) and the beam passes planets that look just like Saturn and Jupiter, in that order, then one small rocky planet before continuing into the sun with

When I was 15-20, I would have loved this. I’d be ecstatic if my entry was accepted and would spend that $50 (or whatever) in celebration pizza and alcohol.

Ugh. This response is such garbage.

I must be getting old because I remember when companies would run contests like this with the idea that your submission MIGHT make it into the game/show/book/whatever. And IF it did, you were just happy to have something you could brag to your friends about.

Saying “hey you met me before” and “my husband wrote on a show you used to do.” Yeah, that beatdown was severe. Nothing hurts more than being reminded you meet a lot of people and some of them fall through the memory cracks.

You’re probably right, I’m assuming the long-term cause-and-effect would revolve around the protagonist him/herself, and the multiple endings may just alter the fate of that character (and characters around them), but nothing that is actually recorded in history.

Tahani is my favorite and most crushiest character on the show, and my main issue with it is that the show seems to be relegating Tahani to the third point in the lesser love triangle with Jason & Janet when she should be in the major one with Eleanor & Chidi.

Maybe it was to juxtapose the life Ellie has with the violence that is a necessary part of her surviving in her world? To show that the stakes are high and that she has something to lose? That human beings continue on with things like relationships and parties in spite of their horrific situation in an effort to

Imagine being angry about a kiss.

Why do the Witches of Juru need a Worldkiller to terraform the Earth by stabbing its core with a magic sword when it’s already habitable?

I’ve been looking forward to this trailer so much that I just went and got myself some ice cream before I watched it.

Cinemascore has always seemed like a terrible metric to me. It works on videogame rating logic where anything but an A is considered a failure. That’s a bad scale.

I’m fairly sure that’s the most any Native American language has been spoken in an hour of television, ever. Major kudos to Westworld for having so much of that subtitled.
