I’m curious as to how the writers’ rooms minimums will work in practice when it comes to shows where a single writer (or a small team) wants to do it all themselves.

But April 26th 2011 is still 6 months before shooting started, so if that script didn’t contain any running naked down the street and otherwise closely matches the final film, either the scene was added after the “last draft” (far from impossible, but it seems awfully random to add one scene and then drop it right as

it has an unnecessary, and therefore suspicious review embargo

LieMAX is pervasive across the US world.

Here’s a quick guide to the comic continuations. It’s not that complicated, but there is a ton of stuff.

I seem to be constantly bombarded with the idea that this show’s existence totally misses the point of Squid Game, a claim which itself seems to totally miss the point of Squid Game (hint: it wasn’t a thesis against dumb gameshows — that was just a metaphor).

Eh... that looks like typical over-photoshopping to me.

Same formula, different family, still fun

In light of reshoots and post-production costs, Forbes reports Disney ended up spending “more than” $270 million to complete The Marvels.

Totally agreed — the lore was kinda interesting in the first one, but it was never going to stand up to the scrutiny of further exploration, and it really, really didn’t. But I would add that Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 not having endings is right up there too.

Drew Struzan already did a poster for The Force Awakens:

A mod? Nah, Bethesda should create an official patch that automatically does that for any reference to the player character if it detects this mod in use.

He’s certainly an asshole, either way, but it would be interesting to hear Lilah Sturges’ opinion on the trans stuff, given she seemed to have a decent working relationship with him. She co-wrote over 50 issues with Willingham, predominantly in Jack of Fables, and also doing The Wolf Among Us videogame adaptation and

Lois & Clark was a long time ago and doesn’t seem to be streaming anywhere, apart from Max. Smallville’s been off the air for a dozen years. Neither of them seem to have big, enduring fanbases.

The “cultural misappropriation” claim is just as dumb. Even if there was a case to be made, it would equally apply to his films, which are themselves “appropriated” from the work and Bob Kane, Bill Finger and others.

size the clothes so that they’d fit him well instead of being comically short

Honestly, it’s the cowardice of the storytelling that bugs me most: We want Manta to be seeking vengeance, but we don’t want to have Aquaman actually kill someone, so what if he just doesn’t save the psychopath who already tried to kill him twice, and will undoubtedly try again the moment he’s freed (from his self-inf

That doesn’t mean they’d shot Tennant’s part by October 2021. They could’ve done that months after the fact. They started shooting his specials in May 2022, I expect they would’ve done it during that period.
