If they were going to do the redemption arc for him, it would make more sense if it was through him struggling to get his tactics across at West Ham and gradually coming to the realisation that it’s because he lacks Ted’s people skills.

I thought Murder on the Orient Express was fine. Not amazing or anything, but it did the job and was slick about it.

Now playing

I know he hates the movie, but I’d really love to see his preferred cut (assuming the footage exists).

🤷‍♂️

Oh, 100%. I like The Hunger Games movies, but I’m genuinely struggling to dredge up a memory of Liam being in them. Josh Hutcherson is hardly charisma personified, and I have no problem with remembering him in them, so it’s a pretty low bar that Liam is failing to clear.

Wrong Hemsworth, it’s Liam taking over. Luke was Stubbs in Westworld.

They probably did come around to the idea that no-one wanted Section 31. Four years and nothing much beyond the initial announcement? It was dead in the water... But then Michelle Yeoh won an Oscar and everyone started scrambling, only she’s now got too busy for more than a one-off.

People often talk about how comic book creators aren’t given nearly enough compensation when their stuff is used in other media. No one seems to talk about Zahn (or the other EU creators whose work has been cannibalised in recent years) in the same way, even as they get excited about Thrawn’s return, but they probably

If I understand this right, the Rhinoceros Beetle Charm allows you to resell first aid sprays for double their normal resale value. And their normal resale value is much more than half their purchase cost.

It may be that a PS4 patch is still coming. The PS5 patch is also about prepping the game for the DLC, so it necessarily had a hard deadline and took priority. I won’t guarantee anything will happen, but I wouldn’t be surprised if a PS4 patch containing the accessibility stuff shows up in the coming weeks.

I agree. I like Horizon, but it has a weirdly awful version of this too. What on earth did they think they were achieving with the chests that you have to pry open with your spear by holding R2 (adaptive trigger on too), which turns them into a regular chest that you can now loot by holding triangle? It did have quite a different feel though, at least in the beginning. It was going for an specifically spaghetti western thing with its taciturn lead and somewhat more deliberate pacing (as opposed to the melting pot of influences Lucas brought to the franchise).

Someone who writes under what I have to assume is the pen-name Demetrius Polychron published a fantasy novel called, ahem, The Fellowship of the King, which he admits is very Tolkien-inspired.

AIPT: And will Jonathan still be considered the Head of X?

They’re gonna put him in the classic costume, aren't they? It’s gonna be the worst thing ever. And, somehow, it’s also gonna be the best thing ever.

Fire and Blood is a (fake) historical summary, not a detailed narrative. It’s an encyclopaedia-style overview of events that House of the Dragon is able to tell into granular detail.

No, he bowed out permanently. Inferno was Hickman wrapping up his storylines as best he could and stepping aside.

Yeah, my more serious guess is that Martin needs a sounding board or two to help him work his way through the various knots that he’s managed to tie himself in, but is reluctant to involve anyone else. Presumably because it would make his magnum opus not entirely his.

I had assumed so when it was announced, but I think I was just thrown by them using “The Hedge Knight” as a subtitle. I honestly don’t think the novellas warrant more than 1 or 2 episodes each, which means 6 episodes max before they run out of material.
