No, pointing out that the issues claimed as “bad writing” are not “bad writing”. There’s a reason why each of those episodes are written the way they are that people overlook that in the context meant makes sense.

It’s a large number sure but as the graph shows it’s just on trend in terms of increases over the last decade or so.

No, the War Doctor is simply the War Doctor and not counted as a specific incarnation.

Sure, except for the fact the RTD era is highly rated and considered one of the peaks of the entire show’s history.

I mean out of your list of terrible writing you went with two episodes written as a mocking of the politicians who put forward the fictitious case for the Iraq War (to the point it specifically mocks the “45 minutes” claim about Iraqi Anthrax), an episode written as a competition prize for the kids show Blue Peter,

Eccleston is probably the best in terms of characterisation, but off the camera fallings out prevented more than one series.

He’s playing the Fourteenth Doctor (yes, it’s not Tenth revival), it’s likely because of degeneration mentioned in tonight’s episode, he’s back officially to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the BBC and the 60th anniversary of the show but in reality it’s to wash the bad taste of the last few years of terrible

Not in terms of the control scheme no but obviously the REMake still looks and plays fantastic while RE0 is... well it’s RE0 and the most people remember from it is the entire section taking place in the labs below Raccoon City pre RE2.

This is the only remaining game in the series that really needs a RXMake at this point.

Wonder how many people have actually encountered the Hym in Witcher 3 though when the game telegraphs so repeatedly in the quest it could appear to do the other option.

Except they’re not. The reason for his ban happens outside of the images used for evidence and instead they go “him accepting he was banned is proof he was cheating” when their own policy was “we ban you, accuse you of cheating, and the only way to get unbanned is by confessing” which is a terrible policy.

Isn’t that the sin Spacey’s character in Seven is “guilty” of?

It came across as much like the system in Village where you had crystal fragments which gave some money and then rare treasures that gave lots of money.

Watching the videos again, and the one with the commentary, I’m wondering if the move towards a faster release cycle is starting to dull some of the creativity. Counting up to the release of this one it’ll mean that in the last five years (2019-2023 inclusive) we’ve had four full games.

You literally called RE4 “fairly recent” but it’s so old there are people now considered adults who weren’t alive when it released.

You do realise that the time gap between RE4 and R4Make (18 years, 2 months, 12 days) is almost as large as the time gap between RE3 and R3Make (20 years, 6 months, 12 days) right?

They didn’t ban him for shits and giggles, they got receipts and then some.

Also, watching that gameplay I really don’t see much “reimagining” in this remake which is a damn shame given that R2Make and R3Make both tried new things in the same world and broad strokes similar stories.

Got to give Capcom credit, their multiplayer Resi games are always on brand.

I didn’t even realise the US version had this. In the UK they just had 22 potential contestants each with a box for the show and they all pretended to be friends “rooting” for each other while one of the few BBC Radio presenters from the 1970s who didn’t rape children (as far as we know) hosted.
