I guess you were unfortunate.  I’ve driven nothing but VW cars, now Audi.  So far, I’ve taken two cars to over 120K miles with no major issues.  But of course, I maintain them religiously.  And I also modify them.

Sure thing!  But for the money I spend on the TDI, I get over 400 lb-ft of torque for a lot less than buying a Model X, for example.  This thing drives like a car, handles like a car, and brakes like a car due to the nice Bremble calipers.  Hard to beat this setup.

This would be true with any turbo-charged cars. The turbo isn’t difficult to change, but I get your point. However, due to the settlement, I get over 100K miles emission warranty; I believe the engine is covered under that as well.

I really love my Touareg TDI!!! Even after the “fix”, it is still way better than a gasoline car! I guess eventually, I’ll get an EV, when it can do what the TDI can do.

Nice copy of an Audi.

I’ve seen and used most of those instruments in the photos... That makes me old; I guess...

That is right! If it ain’t broke, why fix it or get rid of it?

RIP

Gonna really miss the TDi engines in VW’s, Audi’s and Porsche’s...  I love that motor!

Wife will be making a lot more money than me in a month... so this is what she wanted. I don’t get to chime in much... LOL

Saw it in person.  Pretty much is everything you described.  Wife is looking forward to the S version toward the end of the year.

Love Audi’s interior’s design and fit/finish!

She told me this, so this is what she thinks.  And just over the weekend, she was swearing at her iPhone X.

Yes, it’s the way I drive.

My wife loves Mac’s, but she said it’s because it’s for computer idiots. (her opinion) And save money on software if you got a Mac? I don’t think so. With what Apple is charging you, you don’t save money.

Get a R32, 2004 or 2008.  Just sold my 2008 R32 in excellent condition for $7K.  Most reliable car I ever had!

It’s called innovation and willing to spend the money to innovate. That is why I only drive VW AG (and its subsidiary) made vehicles.  Too  bad they cheated on the TDi, because I love that engine, even after they detuned it to comply with emission.

LOL you beat me to it!  I rode in that car to pick up my S4.
