I have the 2018 version, basically the same car.  It is a very nice car, but since coming from a fully modified R32 before that, I thought the S4's suspension is just too soft, even in Dynamic mode.  I think I should have gotten the RS5, but I am looking at the RS6 now.

I had a ‘78 German made and a ‘79 American made Golf (Rabbit).  Both were modified to the max.  Those things are fast and light (but dangerous... LOL).  Once I dropped in GTI 1.8 motors in those, they became road monsters...

Don’t know about the price, but since I have the 2016 Touareg TDI, I know how good this car can be, if there are no issues.

It’s gimmicky, but kinda like it in the S4, with customizable color schemes too.

This is basically aerospace type of harness, with Mil spec connectors and such. In Mil spec harness, Teflon jacketed wires are typically used as well.

So they are using the same motor as the RS6 Avant.  I need the Avant... LOL

I doubt if you could sell this even at $10K.  I sold my fairly modified 2008 R32, and I could only get $7K.  It was in mint condition, but still...

Hard to beat the TDI on a heavy Touareg!  Better gas mileage than my sedan and accelerates with over 400 lb ft of torque!  It’s like driving a V8 but using 4 banger amount of gas!

Looks like I am gonna have to delay trading in my S4 for the RS5...

This was at least 40 years ago, probably close to 50 years ago... I am old.
