Also, if you owned a business, you cannot have the wording “engineering” or anything like that in your business name, unless the business is owned by a PE, or have PE(s) hired to work for the business. This, of course, if you wanted to get a contract from the State/City.

Yes, you need to be licensed as a PE to say that you are an Engineer in any state that has regulations as such, if you were to deal with a state funded project and dealing with the state.

Hired a lawyer and got out of an excessive speed ticket (120+ mph). Could have gotten out of it without a lawyer due to the cop being ambiguous on the ticket, but a lawyer got me access to the judge to speed things up.

Oh I did get a lawyer, but only paid $250. Honest guy. This is when I found that rich people don’t usually pay traffic tickets at their full amount and no waiting till the court appearance. The lawyer had access to the judge any working day. This ticket would have been over $1K and my license suspended for 30 days...

Yeah, the judge gave the cop 30 days to do that, but he didn’t... because that would have made him really look stupid, with the stupid mistake he made.

100 mph is nothing. I stupidly did more than that and got pulled over by a cop who claimed that he almost died chasing me... I got the ticked dismissed from a stupidity he made on the ticket.
