For me it was the story that drove me, and the gameplay/open world took a back seat. For some reason, the combat just does not click with me and I’ve played through both games and still just can’t “get it.” The stealth doesn’t feel good and the action combat is too frenetic for me to really click with trying to pick

I was about to say “what, 2015 isn’t that long ago” and then realized it’s almost a decade. Ha ha ha ha I’m so old.

wireless tether is a thing and has been since the quest 1. And the main point is that a quest gives you more options for how you want to use it compared to a system specific vr headset like psvr2. There are also just a lot of genuinely cool games you can sideload on a quest that are just not possible on psvr2. a cool

Then why the hell did you even bother commenting

An amazing part of a women’s body and also something you will never see, I take that as a compliment

Honestly I hope he never does. Plenty of companies are “just making games” these days. I would rather have a wacky weird dude like Kojima swing for the fences with an deep and artsy failure then play another generic looter shooter, survival game or battle royal

Also, I don't want Kojima to make something not-bonkers. He's special specifically because of the bonkers-ness. May he never stop the bonkers.

Death Stranding is a masterpiece. You want a game, go buy Monopoly or Clue. I am quite happy to keep getting to experience new adventures delivered by an artistic genius.

One thousand games come out every year. Let us have something truly weird and visionary. “Artsy” as you put it. We need it.

I really disagree, I think there should be places in the industry for artistic expression and experimentation. Not everything has to be a cookie-cutter gameplay experience. While yeah Death Stranding wasn’t for me for the most part I appreciate the effort to try new things and I think we should encourage more of that

from the trailer it just look like PT but with new skin

Anyone remember when it was revealed that Kojima was behind P.T., Konami’s response was to lock him up in a room with armed guards every day he came to work? Which it and a few other things that were done against Kojima were all because the president of Konami got his feelings hurt when years prior Kojima said “no” to

It seems like it's going to be Yakuza Crossing, where you rebuild a resort island or something.

I didn’t have a whole lot of interest for this game like this beforehand, but it’s a definite hard no now.

“Every other human is dumber than a box of rocks”

People go to school and spend their lives training to become artists. With digital art it was still humans creating it. Having their work replaced by generative garbage like this is an insult. This will only lead to more people struggling to find work and make a living.

Recycling the exact same argument you clowns used for NFT’s two years ago, I see. Well, I guess if you guys were capable of coming up with new ideas, you wouldn’t need AI.

Imagine simping for AI art and thinking you aren’t a massive cunt.

It’s more like “Holy shit, this Whopper I ordered has wilted lettuce, old cheese, and I’m pretty sure this isn’t even beef.”
