@Bluetooth: Yeah, I said that in the parentheses in my second comment. I say probably because it's still a rumor until Motorola announces it. Don't get me wrong, though, $800 for a 4G/3G/LTE (or whatever Verizon calls it) 32GB Xoom wouldn't surprise me.

@fugeesnfunions: No, I never have. But then again, I know a total of 1 person using an iPhone, and that is an older model. Everyone that I know has an Android product.

@vinod1978: I agree that comparing specs on a next gen device with a last gen device is pointless but it hasn't stopped commenters from freaking out on price points, comparing a $700-$800 32GB 3G/4G Xoom to the $499 16GB WIFI iPad.

@siwex80: I didn't think of the augmented reality apps... but I have never heard of any face chat using a secondary camera to show what you are looking at. Cool feature, but not sure how much I would use it.

Come on io9?! No Highlander? Angel? What about Lexx or Farscape? What about Stargate?

@GunslingerSTKC: I have said it before in the Xoom articles, but please compare similarly configured devices instead of comparing a 32GB 3G Xoom to a 16GB WIFI iPad.

@Fanboy: I agree. Whether it is for an Android or Apple tablet, I don't see the rear facing camera good for anything other than taking a photo in a pinch. I apply the same logic to smartphones. My Motorola Droid is nice to take a quick photo but if I want great quality, I break out my Canon Rebel T2i.

@thehouserules: It hasn't been official confirmed by Motorola USA, but a Latin American Motorola executive stated that a wifi only version of the Xoom will be available in April.

@snitch: I apologize. Nowhere in your comment did you state iPad 2.

@johnsonjunk: EXACTLY! My wife absolutely loves her 16GB wifi iPad and even I have to admit it is a very nice little device.

@EljhHck: Will everyone please compare the Motorola Xoom to a similarly configured iPad already?

@snitch: That is incorrect. Apple only makes the 3G iPad up to 64GB for a price of $829.

@johnsonjunk: Please don't forget that this is most likely (IMO) the 3G 32GB version of the Motorola Xoom. A similaryly configured iPad (3g 32GB, non subsidized) will run you $729.

@JaCooP: Thank you! I thought the same exact thing (and so did Droid Life from the chart in my second comment).

@ddmeightball: Damn, the upload didn't work. Trying again.

Ok people, let's try to put some perspective on this whole pricing issue.

@Thangka: Yeah, they will but shouldn't have to.

@BILLYMAYSHERE: Has anyone ever bought anything from LivingSocial? I have never heard of them before today and want to make sure it isn't a scam site like so many of those deal-a-day sites are.

@LiquidBeef: From Amazon Kindle's help site.
