@tomsomething: They are showing the other side of the "geek" stereotype. Normally they portray us as fat, dirty, WOW addicts. Now they are showing the hip, chic geek side.

@FriarNurgle: Playing WOW and ignoring your virtual girlfriend?
Can anyone tell me what the RPM speed is on the WD hard drive? I have been searching online and haven't been able to find it.
Netflix has been telling us that they were going to release an app for the Android OS for a while now and now with all of these Android tablets coming out, including the Motorola Xoom that I am interested in, I think it's about damn time.
SnipSnip.it sounds like a website for a doctor who performs bris in Italy...
Don't know how much of a deal it is (probably not) but I thought the Neon LittleBigPlanet figure at Thinkgeek.com was pretty sweet looking!
Anyone else think that the white lines in "Road to Forever" seem to be moving?
Happy Wedneday everyone!
@A Pimp Named DaveR: I get a generic help page as well.
@jdale: Engadget states a one time loan of the book, for 14 days.
While I am happy to finally be able to lend e-books to my other Kindle owning friends, there are several things that annoy me.
The mashup was better than the majority of the original songs...SWEET! I think I will go searching for the rest of his mashup videos.
@Cloroxbb: Thanks for the update. How responsive is it? When I watched the videos of the original Nook Color OS it seemed sluggish. Now that you have jail broken it (did you load stock Android?) has the responsiveness changed? How hard was it to jail break?
The Amazon.com deal for The Dark Knight (Limited Edition with Batpod), while still a good deal is cheaper if you look at their new and used sellers. You can get it for $19.99 with $2.98 shipping (granted, the shipping is standard 4-14 business day) from a seller with 98% approval rating.
I believe this sums up my feelings quite nicely.
@Onizuka-GTO: Ah, I did not know that. Thank you all for the information. Sounds like I am better off waiting for CES and seeing what Android tablets are going to be offered (hopefully with all the Google Apps) than buying a Nook Color.
@grimdeath9740: From this Engadget article. [www.engadget.com]
IIRC, isn't the Nook Color getting stock Android 2.2 soon? If so, what is the point of rooting your Nook Color when you will able to load the original Android OS and download any apps you want.
Cool concept, but I hope people use the proper wattage of bulb otherwise we may have a good old fashioned book (and house) burning on our hands!
