My wife and I had our wedding at an outdoor amphitheater in a state park. The entire park was woodsy, with nature all around making it beautiful. Plus because we rented the outdoor amphitheater we also got a huge discount on one of the lodges where we held the dinner / dance / fun times after the ceremony. Definitely

Just an FYI to those people who get Amazon gift cards: You can apply the balance to your account in general, not just use the card when checking out with your purchase.

I don't know about Best Buy but several stores sell gift cards to places like Amazon, Target, etc. If you can't find anything in store how about looking at their website?

I posted this in the Gizmodo deals of the day post but thought it would be good to post it here as well.

Having a "guys" weekend where we do nothing but eat, drink, watch movies, watch football and play videogames. It's the first time in quite a while all of us could get together due to families, schedules, etc so we are SO looking forward to getting back together!

Last time I updated my list (that I keep for insurance purposes) I was pushing 1600 volumes! With all the new shelves that were added in the last photo I have actually been able to spread my collection out between the three walls, though unfortunately it doesn't look nearly as impressive when they were all crammed

Thanks! I know that my man cave isn't nearly as glamorous as some that pop up here on Lifehacker but it is definitely "me" and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I don't like posting this too often, but I have a pretty large collection of manga (Japanese comic books). I originally started out with cheap particle board book cases I got from Menards but eventually my collection got too big and ended up building my own into my man cave walls.

Thanks for the compliment! I know that I have caught some flak on other websites (like Reddit for example) about the sheer size of my collection of books so it is nice to be complimented on it instead.

As I work in IT, both my work and home computers are left on nearly 100% of the time. I run daily (automated) virus scans, daily update checks, nightly backups, etc that happen during the wee hours of the morning.

I work IT for a governmental agency involved with bringing big name businesses to our state. There are many times where even the knowledge that a company is planning an expansion into our state, if it fell into a competitors hands, could spell disaster not only for the company but for my agency as well.

As someone who works in IT and has had to deal with employees taking email before, beware of the legal ramifications you may face when taking the email. Some companies and governmental agencies consider anything you create while at work their property and could consider this theft (especially if you deal with

Ha ha, so true. But if Juvonib is anything like me, fewer books are never an option! I would rather start getting rid of my videogames before my books! ha ha

Very true, it will happen again even if you turn the board around. Like you said, either a new bookshelf is in order or more support in the middle of the board.

Meh, it is just bowing a bit. Take the books off, flip the shelf upside down and then put the books back on. It will then bend back to normal.

HA HA! AWESOME! Reminds me a lot of the bookshelves in my man cave, all full of geeky toys. I'm more of a Star Trek fan though!

Yeah, I felt the same way about reading in high school. Being told what to read and choosing something to read because you find it interesting are entirely different!

My time to shine! I started off with those cheap bookcases you can get from Menards. Eventually I filled every shelf so I actually drilled extra holes in the particle board. Like before though, that didn't hold enough so I decided to build my own!

For me, when I loaded the Mango manga app on a store Nexus 7, it was not. I had to zoom in constantly to see the text on the page. With my 10 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab, I don't have to do that at all. Just my experience though.

I own a 10 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab (the original) and use it to read manga using the Mango manga app. I LOVE IT! Unlike when I loaded the app on a store Nexus 7, I do not have to zoom in to read the text. My model is light enough for extended reading sessions, video viewing or web browsing. Plus I love the freedom an
