My threshold is "can I drive it in a single day?" Ballpark that at around a 12 hour max. Fortunately, my family only lives 10 hours away.

Not bad, considering my e92 M3 takes $200 oil changes, tires are just as expensive, as is the battery, and insurance. At the end of the day, real performance costs money. For people that care about cars it isn't a big deal, just a part of the deal.
