I was gonna say... has it been that long since I played KotOR? I didn’t recognize those two.

They’ve already released bits and pieces in the new canon that have referenced people, planets, or events in the Old Republic timeline. So far nothing has really changed and they don’t have much reason to change it.

The “black people are lazy” belief is a necessary part of being able to deny that there’s such a thing as structural racism holding black people down.

I mean Novigrad in game probably doesn’t have more than a few hundred actual NPCs but it’s big “enough” to give that illusion. They also toss in enough randomly generated foot traffic wherever you are to give the impression of crowds.

So what the hell is the point of accumulating long-term power if there is no plan on how to utilize it to their advantage without having said power stripped from them for abusing it?

Honestly, aside from not seeing an overabundance of dildo bats, gimp suits, and hookers in any of the trailers, it still reminds me a whole lot of SR3 in terms of over-the-top action and cartoonish gang violence. Even this whole idea that the Saints are now a business/criminal empire / whatever you want to call it…

I guess we will see how many of those “Back The Blue” phonies really believe in that garbage now huh?
