I guess I probably need to replay that game.  It’s been too long.  I don’t know if I ever tried dark side for the player character but I do remember all the dark side enemies being just comically evil.  Not Vader evil but more like sadistic schoolyard bully level evil.  Never made me want to explore a dark side

Thanks. I was gonna say... cleaning? Distancing? Hasn’t it by now been well established that cleaning is mostly theater and that there’s NO safe distance indoors?

It was expensive for a CPU but not a big deal for an actual hardware DSP chip, so this is what the sound card makers were doing then. Only not enough people cared to pay for it like they did for video cards.

I should hope they could improve on 90s technology by now, but the point is that late 90s PC game audio was superior to pretty much everything we’ve been using since then until stuff like this starts to appear.

I don’t think that’s the issue. I think the lightsaber IS a dynamic light source in the demo and that’s the problem. There’s nothing to generate the blue nimbus around the blade you see in the original game and in the VFX from the movies. In the original, I assume that’s just a pair of translucent textures. In this

It’s both. The Mako had no suspension damping, so in addition to navigating absurdly vertical terrain just to get from A to B you got to bounce like a rubber ball whenever you landed.  Oh, you landed on one wheel?  Bounce AND spin!

Depends if it’s actually different from the original. There was at least one charm test I’d always fail on a first playthrough if I went to Feros first instead of Noveria. Jeong, the corporate weasel who ran the operation on Feros before the Geth attacked needs max. charm (12) to persuade, otherwise you’ll be handling

I would honestly be all for the “Foxitis” defense if there was any chance it could burn Fox News to the ground (which I doubt). They are clearly the bigger fish, along with Trump himself, in this scum-filled pond of hate.

The good news is there’s just one of them. That automatically makes me hate it less than pretty much every one of the other minigames in this series.

Even the perfect crime always has at least one witness.

Likes Garrus but hasn’t calibrated her TV??!

I don’t know why more character creators don’t offer lighting options.

Did this.  I was kind of hoping they were moving away from Origin what with all the games popping up on Steam again, but as soon as I heard it launches Origin anyway, I purchased in there instead.

This is just one of those weird video game things that can’t be explained as anything but game balance.  My other favorite in many older video games was the “flashlight battery that lasts 30 seconds” which was especially funny in sci-fi futuristic games where you’d expect battery technology to be rather more advanced

I have at this point done the Towers of Hanoi so many times in video games that it’s no big deal to me, but I can see how someone who’s never run into it is going to be stuck there awhile.

Yeah, but just think of all the money Bioware has saved by having NEVER hired someone who knows how to do hair physics!

And as a bonus, you instantly make someone a proponent of raising the federal minimum wage?

That’s the thing. The Republican party electorate is composed almost entirely of people with absolutely no critical thinking skills whatsoever. If their leaders tell them that a million illegals voted in the last election in California, not one of these dipshits actually stops to ask, “Gee... how would that even be

Fox isn’t going on trial for any of that. Incitement has to lead to an immediate violent action for there even to be the beginning of a case against them. Trump was in trouble potentially for his rally just prior to the riot. I still don’t know why he’s not already in jail. He told them to march down there and fight
