So you don't like that he holds a mirror up in front of you and calls out your nonsense?
So you don't like that he holds a mirror up in front of you and calls out your nonsense?
You people are a f*ckin’ cliche lol
Apropos of nothing... So what did end up happening to the naked ally lady who sat down in the middle of the Portland BLM protests? Or was that Los Angeles? Or was that.... Never mind....
I actually don’t take a whole lot of issue with this, since what Mitt’s saying is literally how the laws are written. What’s happening now is what’s DESIGNED to happen, according to the constitution.
I’m still mad at 2016 McConnell, and I want what happened in 2016 to never happen again far more than I want some sort…
THANK YOU.
Lots of moderate Republicans have endorsed Joe Biden. Please don’t insult them. You might make them change their minds.
On the contrary, the problem with Romney is he does have principles. Namely that he is committed to serving his extremely Mormon constituency. That means he both detests Donald Trump for being a foul mouthed oaf but also desperately wants a strong conservative majority on the SCOTUS.
It’s weird that there is none of this concern when sports teams lose and angry (white) fans tear up cities, burn cars and generally act a fool over a score in a ball game
Never mind that the vast majority of protests over the summer were peaceful.
Fun fact: The “Antifa” of the 1920s and 1930s contributed directly into sweeping the nazis into power. Because everyone who wasnt a literal communist street gang (often connected to and funded by the newly soviet-ed russia) looked at the German Christian party and the Peoples National party and said “Hey, you guys…
Thank you for saying this. It’s not NYC trying to kill bike riders its bike riders not following the rules and getting hurt. Traffic signs are for all who share the roads and must be obeyed by cyclist. But in NYC, they don’t. They don’t stop, the don’t follow the direction of traffic, they don’t heed to pedestrians. I…
A corner case doesn’t excuse a bad common practice.
Don’t forget that the reason many police departments started militarization was because of the ordinance they were facing when trying to arrest people. The people they were facing were what switched their focus from serve and protect to protect yourself first.
Bicyclists generally break traffic laws because they aren’t designed for bikes and it’s safer.
Again, there area few different entities here. There is the NYPD Traffic Division, the NYPD Highway Patrol, there is the DOT (Dept of Transportation) which has no enforcement capability, and there is the NYPD proper. NYPD uniformed officers handling traffic stops might be the source of ire, but it’s worth keeping…
Just a technical point to start – the NYPD has its own Traffic division, which comprises a disproportionately high number of people of color (particularly Southasian – something of an immigrant stronghold) compared to the rest of the NYPD. Where the plainclothes cops have plenty of tatted-up Blue Lives Matter white…
“I’m going to make up an argument I imagine somebody else making and then win a fight against myself to prove I’m right” - Most internet commenters.
Sorry, no. Running a stopsign at a busy intersection is not safer. Also you don’t see most of the cars doing it. They might just pause, but the vast majority don’t barrel through like cyclists do.
But I see a lot of them run stop signs and red lights on their bicycles, riding during rush hour w/o a bike lane, and etc.
TL;DR
