Yeah....those two were combat ready in 4 years from their first flight. Although, both of USAF and USN had skipped the prototype phase and sent them straight into production.
I definitely don’t want to see Loeb win on his first attempt. The reason for that is that he has had too much good luck and success in his career, and because I hate seeing the same guy win over and over again.
