I have a strong feeling that the bosses at Nissan have given this a green light just as a marketing ploy. And instead of trying to make it work, they have pulled the plug and ruined the whole team. At least they could’ve built another car to replace this one, if it was really that hopeless.

    Because not racecar.

Go first, fourth, fifth or sixth generation or go home!

Because its sister took up that job. And she did rather well:

I don’t know about that, but there are lots of information pointing out that Russian air force isn’t using them due to lack of funds, while other countries like China and India are.

This is more like late 70s. 80s would have more of this:

I was just informed that Draken’s A-4s have new wings. Still, there is a limit on what every airframe can take, especially the wing spars.

They’ve done it even before, using German 29s, as was done with the AA-11. I’ve read somewhere that Luftwaffe Mig-29s were used to develop tactics prior to the Gulf war.

They could be just as good in the BVR, but I’m not sure that Russian air force is actually using the R-77. Apparently, it is too expensive for them.

Well, there is plenty of Scooters at AMARG, although I don’t know how old and used are they. Non structural comonents like flight controls, parts of the landing gear and engine could all be sourced from there.

That I didn’t know. However, F-16N was also made specifically for the adversary role, with strengthened airframe. But if they have new wings, I’d give them at least 15 years of service life.

Yeah, but there are limits on what an airframe can take, especially one that is being used in the adversary role, which requires a lot of time spent at high Gs.

So apparently you know nothing about maneuverability of such aircraft....not to mention everything else you wrote.

MiG-25 would be useless, because for the adversary role, you need something that is very maneuverable. 29 would be ideal.

That ATAC brochure is great;I didn’t even know that Hunters and Kfirs were used as adversaries by the civilian company; I do know about the USMC Kfirs.

What is even more interesting is the operational history of that tank. If you don’t know it, I strongly recommend reading it (wiki at least). It is probably the most successfultank of the first half of the Cold war.

    Now playing

Alvis Stalwart - a British Army amphibious truck from the Cold War (designed in the 60s). It has a superb off-road performance from its 6WD, but that also means that it is has to be driven carefully on the paved roads in order to avoid damage to its transmission, as it as no differentials.

I really don’t know, both of them have a crane.

But 7.62....because firepower. I’d like to try something like HK417 or SR-25.

I know, but it is still a Merlin.
