Oh man, that makes two of us. My grandma was hilarious and stubborn (in an adorable 4'9"-ish way) and we just lost her. I've been thinking so much recently about how we don't talk about death, and I feel more alone than usual, thinking about hers. It's reassuring to hear from someone (though I don't know him) talk

Volunteer to camp out with a Girl Scout troop! Or any all-girl organization. I did this recently with my troop, and I wound up saying "fuck you" to the showers all weekend and feeling WONDERFUL. I have the kind of short hair that stands up like a peacock's tail in the morning and goes greasy after 20 hours without

"It just means that the kind of achievement that defines success for one segment of the population doesn't mean the same thing to another part of the population."

If kids were given the same kind of introduction to pegging as the one they're given to P-in-V sex (seriously, HOW have we not come up with a better term than that?), I'll bet it'd stick.

Another woman chiming in that I'm glad you wrote this, I too am listening, and I'd LOVE to read an article with the same premise, as written by a man.

YES, exactly. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to see some dude-support in here! But that statement is the equivalent of a dude writing "HEY LADIES! We guys don't care if your makeup is a little off, so why do YOU care?!" We care because of the worth that other people of OUR OWN GENDER give us.

Yeeeeesh, I agree, but... good god, Jez overinflates its headlines ALL. THE. TIME.

Aaww that sucks! Girl Scouting often gets a bad rap because the girls' experiences rely almost entirely on how dedicated the leader is and how much they get along with the other girls in their troop.

Augh, this is such a difficult topic to begin with, but... doesn't the act of BEING BORN cause a fetus a great deal of pain, as well? I'm just one person with one opinion, but personally I care more about the long-term outcome of a pregnancy than the moments or minutes during which anyone involved will be in pain.

These are all hilariously awful, but:

"Your titties, let 'em out, free at last
Thank God almighty, they free at last"

The fact that this woman was moved to write such an eyeroll-worthy article is almost as appalling as all the typos I just read. "ARE government"?? If that was an actual quote, it could at least be paired with a [sic]!

I had a magical bra-fitting experience, just once. My very lingerie-savvy friend took me bra shopping in Montréal a few years ago. At the time I was wearing a 34 B and hatehateHATEd underwire bras because they'd cut into my boobs (which are smallish and look about like B cups).

Aww, thank YOU for reading! I'm so glad you dig it!

Since the only other D. Corsetto is a man who owns a roofing company in Jersey, I'll go out on a limb and say "yes." ;) Thanks a lot!

Cartoonist here, I say anti-realism artists can shove it! As long as the artist is creating something compelling and original - I hope this artist is either taking her own photos or at least crediting the photographers - it's art. I think these are magnificent.

I don't even know! The new(er?) comment system on Jez is to me what every Facebook update since 2009 is to my mom.

"... were voted most likely to get married... "

While the thinner-waist-bigger-boobs makeover is indeed unnecessary, as a cartoonist I think the biggest problem with the "made-over" versions of these ladies is that the artist(s) can't capture their personalities the way a talented animator can. Their faces are inevitably covered with more makeup, but in addition,

Everything they're revealing is my absolute worst nightmare. I have a pretty vivid imagination, horrible dreams, and little faith in humanity, but this story gets worse than my worst nightmare every time a new piece of information surfaces.

Oh my goodness, he aged and got even hotter. Swooooooon. <3
