Hahaha... I didn’t post it, because I don’t remember it, and I didn’t have a carton of the milk at home! But now I’ve had a chance to check it at the supermarket, and yes, That one you posted is correct!

For people in Australia, the recipe for Blueberry Pancakes on the back of the Dairy Farmers brand Buttermilk is fantastic.

As has been mentioned, you’re not making omlettes here, just scrambled eggs and stuff in a bag. If you’re cooking for lots of people, why not take exactly the same ingredients, and just make a big pan of scrambled eggs? It’ll be much quicker than this, and everyone can just scoop as much as they want.

I’ve had good success using a neoprene beer koozie (stubbie holder, as we call them in Aus) and a sock. This creates a nice firm hold, with padding all around.

This is one situation where you’ll be glad that you learned your high school maths! If you don’t have the recommended pan, break out your area formulas and find the ratio.

Yeah, I’ve had old machines that would run a trimmed down XP fine, but struggle with Xubuntu.

Ok, that seems to make sense. I think might just have been cheap and crappy (it was a gift). It felt like I spent more time unclogging it than actually slicing stuff.

Ok, convince me about the mandoline. I had one, but recently gave it away, as I wasn’t using it. I have relatively good knife skills, and found that I could julienne stuff quicker with a chefs knife than messing around with a mandoline. Was mine just a crappy one? Or is it unnecessary if you’re good with a knife?

Can anyone who’s been using it, let me know how Plex Media Centre compares with Plex Home Theatre for use on a HTPC hdmi’d directly into a TV?

Yeah, I was going to post the same thing. The store is still getting the information you provided (email/physica address, payment method, item purchased, etc) even when you use guest mode. Most ecommerce platforms give the retailers the option to look back at a history of purchases and view all this information

Another vote in favour of it (for my use case, that is). I often stream Spotify through the Chromecast and a home theatre receiver. My wife used to have to get my phone (or ask me) to pause/change songs. Now the controls are on her phone, too.

That escalated quickly.

Like a lot of commenters here, there are some points that I agree with, and some I disagree with.

Maybe, but that’s a sign of much bigger problems. Whatever weight you can deadlift, shouldn’t be a problem to do as a farmers carry.

This is how they look loaded up. Haven’t had the problem of them hitting my legs. Each side weighs about 20kg (45lb) unladen, so it’s pretty easy to get each side to body weight with only a couple of plates on each of the four posts.

Then you’re not going heavy enough.

Take it to 2x body weight (1x body weight in each hand) with a walk of ~25m. A few sets of that will get you pretty tired.

The best tip I ever got on this was “try to put your shoulder blades into your back pockets”.

If you’re going to keep it to the simple compound exercises, at least put a strict overhead press in there.

These things are another option. You then slide the plates down on each end.
