Is anyone else having the issue with the speedometer not showing since the upgrade? Been googling, but can only find a few similar cases and no solutions. (Android 5.1.1 on Galaxy S6 Edge)

Can someone tell me the benefit of using Fast Startup as opposed to standard Hibernate? On my Win10 machine I use hibernate most of the time when I just want to power down, but want to get straight back to where I was when I power up (i.e. most nights), and I use normal shutdown (without Fast Startup) every so often

I can also vouch for heating one tine of a fork over a gas stovetop as a way to solder when no other options are available.

The problem with audiobooks was that the narration speed always felt frustratingly slow. I’m sure there are other solutions around, but Smart AudioBook Player on Android was what worked for me. It has the option to increase up the play speed (without turning the voices into chipmunks). I find that 1.8x-2x is the most

My wife used it with her bridesmaids dresses for our wedding a few years back. She (and the bridesmaids) were pretty happy with how it all worked out. Fitting wise - I know that a few of the bridesmaids needed to have their dresses taken in (they seem to fit quite large - even with you providing your measurements).

I find that a boiled kettle and tap water tends to get me pretty close to whatever target temperature I’m trying to hit.

I’ve tried all the different gizmos and gadgets over the years, but the one that go back to time after time is a no-name brand version of this that cost me about $2.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I know that all of the financial institutions that I bank with have a “recurring payments” function.

Here’s another little tip for those without premium accounts - use the web player instead of the desktop app. For some reason you don’t get ads when playing through the web player.

Basically the video only said one thing - that some retailers make different goods specifically for their outlets. They cost the company less, so they charge less for them. Customers aren’t aware of the difference, so assume the outlet items are the same as the full-price items.

I know I’m jumping in on an old thread here, but I recently fixed this problem myself. It seems the issue is with how the Windows 10 Personalisation settings finds the required folder. It seems to have issues if you navigate to a folder in Dropbox using the “Dropbox” shortcut and navigating from there. I managed to

Not surprised about being bored in the first 15 mins of Episode I. Most of the first half hour is taken up with conversations about taxation, trade delegations and the potential for embargoes. Hell, the opening crawl literally has the line, “The taxation of trade routes to outlying star systems is in dispute.” Who

I don’t know about that. Sure, you could probably do something a bit more structured with Kodi and a FireTV or Roku. But for people getting their first taste of streaming content to their TV, Chromecast and Plex works pretty damn well.

There’s always this option:

Very happy that my wife just bought me the Anova Precision Cooker as a Christmas present last night. Now to convince her that I can play with it before Christmas!
