I do all my reading on my Galaxy SII. However, instead of the standard black text on white, I find it much more comfortable to use grey text on a black background. During the day, the grey is light enough to stand out against the black, and at night, I can set it to the lowest brightness and read it in the dark…
I'm with you 100%. The Logitech M570 seems to be the only quality one around. Not sure what I'd do if they ever stop producing it.
I'm with you. I had my Galaxy S2 plugged into a Mac as an external drive just minutes ago.
I'm rocking the same standing desk set-up - monitor and keyboard on a paper box on my normal desk. Perfect height, and my legs, back and shoulders are thanking me.

This is the exact opposite of the experience I've had with Linux. For most of my time running Ubuntu (and it's brothers), I've actually found it easier to get my peripherals working under it than under Windows. On the odd occasion when I have had to make a slight adjustment (eg. fixing sidescrolling on a small…
What's wrong with a putting a sticker with contact details on the back? That way, even if it's out of batteries, the finder can still get your details to return it. I know that I'd sacrifice a little style for that functionality.
Here's my tip for #5:
Am I the only only that prefers room temperature water? My Britta jug sits out on the bench all the time.
I usually tear a hole in the middle of a piece of bread and cook the egg inside that.
Took me two reads through with a raised eyebrow before I spotted it!
Ok, here's a quick question for you. Is the battery percentage text part of Nova Launcher, or is that separate?
Hang on... doesn't the "@@" whitelist the filter entry? Wouldn't you want to add it without the "@@" to ensure that it does get blocked?
I've loved having my Swiss Army Manager 58mm on my keychain ([www.victorinox.com]). It seems to have the functionality that I'm looking for, especially the phillips head screwdriver, the bottle opener, and the ballpoint pen. I'm always amazed at how often having a pen on my keyring comes in handy.
I don't have a Foreman (not sure if they exist in Aus), but for similar style presses I've had good luck by using a mug or cup or whatever you've got around the kitchen to prop up the handle or the grill press. This way, you can set the height to lightly press on the sandwiches; enough to toast the bread (and heat…
Reminds me of this comic from 'Toothpaste for Dinner'.
I'm pretty sure that's exactly yeahman's point. Just because drinking diet soda and being fat are correlated, doesn't mean that the soda's the cause. S/He's suggesting a mediating variable (eating burgers/fries) that may play a causal part in the relationship.
A 'shopping.txt' file in a shared Dropbox folder works for my fiancée and me. It's always accessible on our phones and computers, it syncs perfectly, and doesn't require a dedicated app.
