It doesn’t make it any more safe, and that’s the problem I have with cops giving chase for any reason at all.

I don’t think we was evading at all. If he was, he would have left the cop way behind for sure. Why would he slow down so casually at the light and stop? It was a clear right turn lane and minimal traffic, he surely would have gone straight on by.

I have a brother who is in SWAT, and he told me about a veteran patrol cop in his department who came to the range with an empty gun. Mind you, this gun was that officer’s service weapon. This idiot had been carrying an unloaded gun for 6 months on patrol, which he admitted himself.

Also, right at the beginning of the chase, the cop passed the first truck while going up a rise. It was a short rise, but given perfect timing, there _could_ have been an oncoming vehicle hiding behind it.

Previous knowledge of whether or not the camera was running is completely irrelevant to the situation at hand. It should have no bearing on an officer’s actions.

I’m surprised no o e has commented on how many time the cop crossed the double yellow himself, even when he wasn’t passing another car. They guy would cross into the other lane for every other turn, which is much, much worse than what the dude was doing on his bike.

Now playing

The guy also knew about the importance of good-fitting pants:

Good time management, is what I call that.

I don’t know if it’ll ever be acceptable. A young lady died because of this asshole.

I heard LBJ had a Lincoln Continental convertible and would fly around his Texas ranch behind the wheel with a scotch in hand. Something else probably not going to happen. If I were president I would be drinking beer, shooting guns, wheeling, and staying at Camp David in a damn tent. I think most of us are cut from

“Unsurprisingly, the sheetmetal of a split-window Sting Ray is not good enough for the Secret Service.”

The most dangerous factor in driving the Cobra was the road conditions. We have a lot of high-speed beat up roads where I live.

I looked it up; it's a space frame. The difference between that and Backdraft's ladder frame is striking.

Agreed 100%. The big black tires are a big part of the aesthetic. This is how you do it:

A Cobra is one of the very few cars that I don’t mind a replica of. At this point I’ve probably seen more fake Cobras than have existed real ones.

Jesus - Id kill myself if I had to pay 40k out the door for a minivan... damn.

Backdraft uses a ladder chassis... so no thanks...

I had a very nice Factory Five with a 302. It is, without a doubt, the most fun I’ve ever had behind the wheel of anything. Gorgeous, incredibly fast, dangerous, and LOUD. I drove it every chance I got. I met people everywhere I went, which was fun too. Every drive was truly an experience and wherever I was, all I

Replica Cobras with rims bigger than 15s make me cry.

I agree. I was going to say something about someone driving say a base Dodge Caliber or something, but a lot of time you drive what you can afford.
