ABSOLUTELY agree. The app totally completely sucks. The iOS one isn't much better either, but at least it gets occasional updates from them.

You'd think for a paid app, it would work on Android and iOS better. That is the buggiest piece of software I currently have on my phone.
Not a single word. Just like bad movies get previewed before they are released.
I liked my Evo when it came out. I LOVED my Evo when I rooted it and let the dev community support it. But really, the Evo is a phone that kind of follows my line of thought. When it was released, it was one of two extremely powerful Android phones, alongside the Nexus One. It was the best HTC had to offer, and…
...if everyone agreed, we wouldn't be having this conversation, nor would this article even exist. But you're right. Enjoy you're Droid Charge, less than 6 months old and not even getting ICS. Bravo, Sammy!
So for years the Android Market has been available, and there are icons, stickers and all kinds of things related to it. And it makes total sense: a market to buy things! Now it's called Play? What the shit is Play? It makes no sense at all.
It's a little shamefull that the Charge isn't on the list, considering other older less powerful phones are.
"And yes, I know about the new phones, you don't think there will be variants for GSM, CDMA, and models that have both?" - Probably, but I wouldn't call the CDMA Galaxy Nexus a different phone than the GSM Galaxy Nexus simply because of a different radio. That's like calling a VW Jetta Diesel a different car than a…
They do only have one price range and size (minus the older models) and this works extremely well for them. It also allows every person at Apple on the mobile project to devote 100% of their time to the new model, creating a gorgeous product. I think the likes of HTC could probably do something like this with 3 or…
I was more talking about their philosophy prompting people to buy their products in droves. Actually, your Sony mention is also a good example. In their best years, I'd say Sony was the portable electronics giant that Apple is now.
I refuse to live in a world where Apple was the only company that modernized the world and took us kicking and screaming into the world we live in now.
Well, a phone on Verizon can also be used on any other carrier on the planet, if designed well. Just like the pentaband GSM Galaxy Nexus can be on any GSM network on the planet and the Verizon iPhone can be on virtually any CDMA or GSM network on the planet. One phone, every carrier. Not 10 phones.
I think you just proved my point. Apple designs one device a year, not 10. They also support it and update it (and even sell it) for years after its introduction.
Why would you need a phone for each carrier? That's ridiculous.
There's two types of outdated today: one that involves your phone's hardware not being good enough, and another involving a very quick end-of-life for the device. One is normal, the other one is artificial and should be avoided. Some electronics companies know this, and thusly sell a very limited set of products for…
I own a Nexus. They get the zero-lag shutter time by forgoing focus and exposure apparently. The pictures are a joke at best, often blurry and washed out.
Why would they forsake quality for the ability to get a fast, blurry, washed-out picture? I just don't get it. Besides, HTC's new cameras, with discrete image processor, are likely going to make even the iPhone 4s's camera look old.
I have a console table with a big drawer on it. I put my bowl in the drawer to keep it out of sight.
Me too. Heh, I suppose that's why I have one. But really, a $300 'super phone' with a camera that is very 2010. It's kind of a 'no excuse' situation.
Soooooooo, something malicious gets on your phone and it can do bad things? SHOCKER. I think that's pretty much the norm for any computer.
