right. I wasn't really saying it'd be a good thing, I was just pointing out that selling games for less will devalue the games that are actually worth $60 in peoples minds, to the point where they won't sell anymore

oh, so is it more like he couldn't buy this individual part, he had to buy the entire chassis? That makes more sense

if it was bad gameplay I wouldn't make it 10 minutes.

ah ok got it

when I participated in my states youth in government program, I was a very active member of a committee responsible for creating a bill for this...and that was one of the biggest arguments against it.

a tiny metal replacement piece costing 1/4 the purchase price of the original product is absurd no matter how expensive it was to begin with

yea, fuck him for being successful!

is that an example of 3D printing in the picture, or is that the part?

its not an instead solution, its an in addition to solution

this is news? Michigan has had this for a while

true, but except for finally fantasy (who's price will drop, its probably in the top right now because its new and all the ff lovers have been buying no matter the price) they're all under $10

I have a focus too and its great, but theres a few fatal glitches, so I can't wait to get my iPhone 5

in the past, it has been nearly impossible to get good gamepad controls on the PC versions of the games. If you enjoy playing with a mouse and a keyboard, they control wonderfully, but if not, on the past games you're out of luck (I prefer a gamepad personally). However, I have a feeling they will be smart this time

not true, look at the mobile games market...there are some quality games for 99 cents, but its mostly crap. Yet still, people have come around to decide $30, $40 is far too much for a mobile game (the problem I think the 3DS is having). Nobody seems to think those games are better, they just think its not worth it

Actually, I think you can argue that, since Skyrin is $60, thats what makes most other games worth only $20 or $30...

I think you seem to not understand how much more time and effort is spent on a game like this than on most games...it is entirely worth the extra $10

you seem to have misunderstood my point. I agree that it shouldn't be something that is patentable, but I was suggesting that since it was patented, it inspired new options for slide to unlock.

while slide to unlock is a dumb patent, I'm glad they got it.

some of the patents are very dumb, I'll give you that, but they're not quite that simple

well, google claims microsoft bought it so that they couldn't...so either:
