I don't understand all the giz hate...as far as layouts go, its far superior to the old one. the only problem is that it royally fucked up the commenting system, and it still isn't quite fixed (though it gets better all the time)

facebook shouldn't be making any changes to the chat system until they find a way for the person you're talking to to not go on and offline 50 times over the course of a 10 minute chat

"Snail Mail My Email is a month-long art project by designer Ivan Cash"

it seems that they not only do have rainbows, but since that movie they have become even more obnoxious, sporting a pinkish red gradient background instead of white (in addition to the rainbow)

because when it falls to the ground (since your keys are always out in the open, and its not gonna fall off in your pocket, or in your hand allowing you to notice and pick it up, right?), the random passerby who picks it up will not only know where your house is, but use it to break in and steal everything?

well they can't exactly sell a product that is packaged with that logo on it, can they? they no longer have a product that is ready to be sold, so obviously it had to be pulled. Also, with what they did, there is probably a potential lawsuit brewing, so its not surprising the company is willing to comply with samsung

I feel you should be able to patent, say, the technology that makes multitouch work, but not the way it is implemented.

I would say that, while android is certainly innovative today, the first release of it was not so innovative. They developed a platform based on the iPhone, and have brought the innovation to it in later years

they told them they can't use Samsung branding for the "made for samsung mobile" that this product featured. That is all

its a nice service to have for some, and you don't have to pay for it if you don't want it...so why do you care?

not dropping it, so much as being unable to reach it...horribly damaged limbs, pinned under wreckage, etc.

All my cars have onstar, and I have never once used it (on purpose). The extent of my onstar interactions has been "oops, didn't mean to hit the button, sorry"

it would require a much more substantial installation, as there needs to be motors and such...also, the mirror would need some sort of sensors right on it

I'm assuming they have to set it up to interface with the cars electronics...which would explain the installation fee and how it knows when you've crashed

not to get technical, but I highly doubt this was caught "on film"...more likely, it is digital video

I once told the customer to power down their computer manually. they didnt know how

I sort of took the statement to be that AMD themselves were developing the AI, something that would be part of the engine that the devs would use, and they'd have to do very little work to implement it

try the witcher 2 on a capable computer...clothes look the best ive ever seen
