obviously garmin plans to make sure we never make a wrong turn again by implementing shock collar technology into their GPS devices

yes...both things Apple has refused to put on their computers, so for Professionals who work with macs, this is an attractive technology

ah, I get it...it was a joke

not really, no

I'm 20...

it will when it's out of beta i'm sure...

what would be even better is add friends THROUGH facebook...so instead of just sending everyone on facebook an email, send them a facebook message...you know, something they'll actually look at

in what way is that a stupid question? that could easily be a substantial enough change that it could require a new port...the technology itself (fiber vs copper) is fundamentally different

thats what I was wondering...so it seems once it's cheap enough to manufacture the cables with fiber instead of copper, we can still use them on Macs we buy today...sweet

let me just point out what HDMI cables cost when they first came out (hell, what they STILL cost from "good" brands)...nobody nerd raged at monster about the price like they are at apple...(in my memory at least)

agreed (with #1 at least)...I understand that they want to use it for monitor connection...but why not make it USB, so that we can use it as a USB port when we aren't using it to connect monitors? NOBODY uses the form factor they have, besides them, dooming us mac users to ANOTHER generation of laptops that we need to

most consumers don't need a lot of things computers offer these days...

it makes external drives fast enough to perform as internal drives...something that will be vital for pros and "prosumers" in their content storage and creation

but will the port be capable of handling that fiber optic tech when it finally comes out, or will we have to buy new macs to take advantage of fibery super-speed?

that's a fact that's conveniently skipped over...

nope, but I saw the post you were referring to

though I agree it would be cool, I can see why they did that...though they didn't do it well, they want to have human characters for the audience to bond with, as it is harder for robots to convey that

they always show her with that look...when she's smiling she's absolutely darling. IMO she's hotter than megan fox, and apparently doesn't look as much like a devils spawn when she's not wearing makeup (megan fox looks terrible when she's not from what I've seen)

the OEM backplates? They're the same thickness as the back you have on yours right now...it's (supposedly) a backplate manufactured by the company that makes them for Apple, built to the same specs...that's what OEM (supposedly) means

$139 is around what you'd pay for an "official OEM" backplate, isn't it? at least for those white conversion kits
