Never had this issue until I had kids.  "For fucks sake, wait until I unlike the goddamn car!" After about 15 attempts to unlock the stupid car.

Those letters are sent out based on DMV records.

I agree 100%, I just traded my LS400 with 600,000 miles for a 2012 Ford Fusion with 16,000 miles and under $10,000. Cheap insurance and good gas mileage lets me have money for my weekend car.

I needed a new drivers side axle for my 92 LS400 WITHOUT air suspension. O’Reilly’s parts catalog didn’t have different part numbers for the axle with or without the air suspension.

In high school I hit a coyote at about midnight in my 1980 C10 at 60 MPH, I didn’t stop because I pretty much assumed it was dead after the corner of my steel bumper smashed it’s head in.

Because RACE CAR!

She is just gonna scratch it up like an automated car wash would. Rubbing those jeans on the paint by leaning on it and dragging those hose all over it. Also that hose doesn’t even have a nozzle, what a waste of water. I hope she is being careful as to not get the interior wet.

Its not that much, Lexus quoted me about $1,500 and an independent did it for $600. Not bad for my car that has about 500,000 miles on it.

Also watch out for bump stickers placed next to the factory window sticker.

The manufacturers get the owner info from the DMV and send letters out based off of that info.

Well, you do get free oil changes and new tires with the purchase, so...

A giant air horn could have possibly made that enertaining.

It will never be verbatim due to how time consuming and the difficulty with trying to focus on the issues as the person is also trying to look info up at the same time. They are not always trying to mess it up for people. I would agree that recordings are probably the best if the customer disagrees with what the rep

Had to go to my direct supervisor sometimes (I did alot if I felt the customer’s complaint was justified). Other times I would send a case to the regional manager that works with the customer’s dealer.

I took calls for one of the big three and it does sometimes help and sometimes not. Sometimes the manufacturer will work with the dealer and get an engineer involved. For parts delays they do try and expedite parts if possible. They will even provide goodwill car payments or help pay for out of warranty repairs
