So worth it! sure there is the injury and jailtime but I got to...um...drive around outside in boston in the winter on my quad? Man what was I thinking...this was a terrible idea.

Basic attention. This is like asking someone to prove that there are mass shootings in the US.

Yep, I also don’t buy cars from inner Mongolia. The sacking of Kiev in 1240 is a wound much too fresh in my mind.

There’s only one solution: buy Jags.

7) If the throttle sticks, put the car in Neutral. It’ll sound like you’re going to blow the engine, but you still have brakes and steering and can coast to the shoulder and stop. THEN kill the engine. On some vehicles, killing the engine will lock the steering wheel. Most engines won’t blow due to a speed/rev

7) As an aside, the vacuum-driven brake booster isn’t used to increase braking force, but to decrease the effort needed to depress the pedal. Find yourself rolling without engine power and the brake pedal feels impossibly solid? Push harder. You’ll get the same braking effectiveness for the same amount of travel on

“6) Car got a starter problem? Hit the starter with a hammer, tire iron, or a rock.”

Here’s some things I’ve picked up...

My Corvair had a 2 speed automatic. It took off well but just as you merged on the highway it shifted to high gear and tossed out an anchor.

But what’s the drag coefficient if you stuff the grille full of Snickers bars? Has anyone even tried that?

I’m going to say the same thing here as I did in oppo

“I’ve driven an 8-speed auto and a 7-speed DCT and it was honestly a pain in the ass flipping the paddles so many times.”

Oh, we’re WELL into the land of diminished returns. My Compass has the ZF9 speed transmission. It is programmed behind the 2.4l to start in 2nd gear unless you completely mash the throttle to the floor, and will not see 9th gear at any sane highway speed. So, in effect that hugely bragged about 9 speed is actually a 7

This is exactly what I thought when I saw the headline.

Where do I find time to murder prostitutes between these gear changes?

It would make some sense if the truck got rid of the low-range transfer and used first 3, extremely short gears instead. In normal driving, it would start from 4th or 5th and everything from 10th upwards would be (very) overdriven highway gears.

Two! Two speeds is plenty.

Remember, if you have more than 3 bumper stickers, you are a crazy person.
