The Golf is FWD until the the front runs out of grip. So for everyday driving it’s only FWD (You still have the weight, but that’s pretty much negligible for fuel economy.)

Ehh 50/50 because it costs money to meet the regulations. I guess it’s kind of like the “fast/ reliable/ cheap, pick two” dilemma. Just substitute regulations for reliable and you have to chose it if you want to sell the car.

Might want to double check this, but I wouldn’t get multiple credit cards. I think that itself hurts your score. The general idea is a good one though, use a credit card to buy things you would with cash. Just keep in mind even small things like your phone bill contribute to your score.
There are exceptions. I had a buddy who’s dad essentially stole his identity. When he turned 18 and moved out, he discovered he had cable and electric bills in his name going back from when he was two. He couldn’t afford a lawyer and didn’t want to press charges or anything against his dad.
