A new documentary series by one-time Kotaku contributor Latoya Peterson asks women who calls themselves “gamer” why they do so. Girl Gamers explores the way that female players and game-makers deal with how to describe themselves and the perceptions of others.

Everybody is gonna ask for a steam refund after they die. Honestly, this is a dumb game mechanic/business model that will stir up some type of controversy.

I love and enjoy hilariously bad voice dialogue, too. But there are so many people who feel it’s a CRIME to ever improve it in a re-release, and that’s what this reminds me of - the active rejection of improvement in favor of something you fondly remember that is objectively terrible. I guess I feel that way because

Some think that being poor is simple. You don’t have enough money to buy a lot of stuff, so you’re forced to buy

Wait, high-dollar law firm is working for a wealthy mayor of a semi-major city pro bono?! The fuck?! Something shady is definitely going on there.

I bet they wouldn’t be as upset if the character wasn’t black. They’re all racist pricks.

A few things.

This ain’t the first time Captain America has taken a swipe at conservatives. When Steve became the Captain in the 80’s, it was because he was pushed out for not complying with the government wanting to turn him back into a weapon. Even if a thief smashes the safe, the LEGO shrapnel will prevent any smooth getaways

That looks very, very cool.

It also looks like they’re going to be hearing from Sony’s lawyers very, very soon.

I love pokemon Stadium, but man can that stage be temperamental. One second its helping you corner and destroy someone, the next moment you are stuck in the pit getting wrecked by multishines.

What else would you base the game on? Most other developed countries don’t build new prisons all the time and building them isn’t about making money. Less developed countries old crumbling prisons where you would have very little things to manage.

I’m curious why you dislike 2-D platformers. Is it because you think it isn’t as advanced tech, or is just a style thing? Because still being 2-D doesn’t equate to not being an advanced game. It’s like saying a 3-D animated cartoon is automatically superior to a hand-drawn, 2-D film.

This pretty much speaks for almost every game I own for the WiiU.
