Actually white and black show dirt fairly well. It’s silver metallic that’s pretty good at hiding a dusty finish. Silver is also pretty good at keeping the interior cool compared to dark colors. If your car has a visible hood from the driver seat, a silver would reflect less light off into your eyes than a white hood.
