Nissan is synonymous with poverty now.

Toyota has been doing the exact opposite.  Their Toyotas have been getting better and more luxurious to the point where the Lexus brands is basically just a rebadge brand with little added value over the main brand’s offerings.  New Camrys are solid and comfortable.

Fake wood has been changing and evolving through the years. I recall it went from fairly matte in the 80s to then super glossy shiny plastic in the 90s and early 00s. My old 04 Sienna had a super shiny plastic wood trim inside. However, in the 2010s, the wood began to veer away from yellowish warm hues and toward

That’s kinda silly. Car shows are a social event where you get the opportunity to see interesting stuff - getting to see some historical vehicles as well as modifications on some cars that reflect the owner’s tastes and creativity. It’s part craft show, part social gathering. I can’t get behind the argument that

If you look at car design today, most cars come with an angry look from the factory.  The market wants aggro looking headlights on their cars.

It wouldn’t be a criminal case.  You gave the property over with your consent.  When something went wrong, you had the right to be put back “whole” - meaning you need to be compensated for your loss.  This would be a civil case more than likely.  The criminal case aspect would be one of fraud rather than theft.  A

The nice thing about a stainless sink is that it gives some “bounciness” to absorb shock if you drop a plate or cup in it whereas a white ceramic finish sink will not and makes it more likely to break the dropped item.

The wing will make it look gawdy.  That’s why it needs the wing.

Actually the Integra will be released in a Sport Gran Turismo minivan model that seats 8 across 3 rows of seating.

I think you’re right. This idea that fasterners are ugly and should be hidden needs to change. I think coincidentally, this fastener-look may actually be used to increase awareness of the “right to repair” movement which I hope takes off.

and as long as it’s being turbocharged and redlined, it shouldn’t blow apex seals like its sporty FD3S predecessor

Do you need a motorcycle license to ride this thing? (California here)

I’m in the tshirt business and the color of tshirts has followed this car paint scheme exactly. What I’ve observed is that older men today associate gray, black, and maybe a dark navy blue to be the only acceptable color tshirts to wear. Even white has fallen out of favor - mostly because they claim to show stains

Even if it’s just to clean it, a “dry cloth” is often not enough to dislodge layers of grime deposited by the skin’s natural oils, sweat, and dead skin cells. I consider my hands to be usually clean yet when I wipe off my leather steering wheel in my car, I pick up a gross tan color from it - and the steering wheel is

You could pull out a molar right now I’m so asleep from being bored looking at this Acura-Chevrolet-Camry looking snoozefest

how is it that european designs remain to this day, overcomplicated fragile and unreliable pieces of automotive feces while Japanese design consistently keeps ugly loathsome Nissan Sentras and boring Toyota Corollas running bulletproof for 100s of 1000s of miles???

posting your mistake to the wider audience of Jalopnik is gonna have a rather... amplifying effect of what a dummy you think you are...

It also bleeds into a sort of freedom of religion issue where their cultural identity includes dreadlocks and it’s a practice that is intertwined with their religion.... I mean unless we’re talking about a real compelling safety issue (say facial hair prevents proper seal on a rubber respirator in a toxic

Actually white and black show dirt fairly well. It’s silver metallic that’s pretty good at hiding a dusty finish. Silver is also pretty good at keeping the interior cool compared to dark colors. If your car has a visible hood from the driver seat, a silver would reflect less light off into your eyes than a white hood.

yeah I see what you’re saying.  The brake lights have to turn off during the off-cycle of the blinking turn signal indicator and that basically means the turn signal overrides the brake light completely.   the driver behind the Jeep is more likely visually drawn to the blinking light and so it can become ambiguous
