Poor writing.  It’s not the what, but the how.

Totally agree the problem isn’t the tools. Pointing out the nonoptimal tool usage is speaking to the poor writing for me. I don’t see talking about the tool used poorly as specific example of that as the absolute damnation of the tool you seem to project, just to be clear.
