Alexandria is a nice enough and expensive neighborhood to live in. Tourist destination? Not unless you’re in your 70s. There’s a row of restaurant/bars, a few museums, and a few antique shops. I lived in the area, which was nice because I worked there, and it’s easy to get around most of it, but again - not a tourist…

This!  I, too, was a student who got paid for some things I did for the university that benefitted it, and somehow I managed to not become an insanely corrupt person. Weird how that happens.

I’ve never understood how this isn’t the solution...or, isn’t already in place. Like, these dudes get nothing other than tuition? For real, working at the library 10 hrs/week at least gets you weed money.
