haven’t posted here in a while and felt it was time to come back. This here is a Porsche 911 that I finished a few days ago. It does not have any body mods and is primarily just repaint, detail and decals.
This model has an interesting story to it. The guy I purchased it from said it was from a Russian magazine, where in every issue, a car was sent along. But, after the magazine went bankrupt, the cars were sold off and he bought some. I bought more then just this Renault, so expect more of these in the coming weeks.
For tomorrow's post. Didn't have enough daylight to post it today. But here is the teaser.
Today I have this quick post on this porsche I 3d printed. Not my design but made by someone else borrowed from thingiverse. I quickly drew the LaLD logo on it and took photos to post it here. I hope you like it!
I finished this custom today. What I did was drilled it, sprayed it with about 2-3 coats of Spaz-Stiz color changing paint (made to be sprayed on gloss black) and 3 coats of rust oleum gloss clear. I detailed the headlights and taillights and some of the interior. I hope you like it!
I’ve finally finished my gt2! This car you see here is a HW Time Attaxi (Uly said I could use it ‘cuz it was real enough) spray painted metallic purple. I made custom stickers for it and was going to put a wing on it but glue got everywhere (hence the paint imperfections on the trunk.
Here is my custom Mazda Miata. It has a 3d printed engine which I showed you on Friday. I hope you like it!
Today I finished this custom ford Gt. I thought it would look good in orange and I was right. I still have yet to detail it. I also finally found a use for these oddly sized wheels I bought with this car.
This here is a lister storm I also got from Laguna Seca. This car was a homologation special car made by Lister Automobile Company. The five examples of the street legal versions were made so this racecar could compete in the 24 hours of spa in 2003.
Today, I show you this Aa Bugatti. I got this one at Laguna Seca for $25. I think it was an ok deal.
Laguna Seca, here I come!
I am currently looking for Hw/MBX VW’s. I need 1 HW VW Beetle convertible and 1 Mbx/HW Regular vw beetle. let me know if you have any and we can work something out!
Just finished this RWB today and think it looks great. Polished then powder coated translucent green. Kept it rather simple. No epoxy putty widebody just details to make it look like it has one. Cut the top of the wing off and replaced it with one made of styrene painted matte black. Hope you guys like it!
Today I went to the flea market and struck gold. All of the near perfect premiers and the 1/43 mini were $0.75! Hope you enjoy the pics!
Just a quick question but have you guys had experience with these people before? I’ve seen quite a few comments like these around the diecast community and got one of my own to deal with today. All I did was told her to delete her comment (after I did it I realized it was a dumb idea) and then blocked her. So how do…
I’ve (almost!) finished my gt3 car! I powder coated it teal with decals underneath the paint (hence the purple taillights) and colored the wheels ‘MURICA colors. I might add more wing to it but for now it’s fine. I am very happy with the way it turned out. As for the skyline at the bottom of this post, not so much.
Just started working on my gt3!
I’ve got mine ( well, my dad’s as I go free)and I am pumped! If you go to this event you might have a chance to get very rare and exclusive cars! The link is right here:
It is a fantasy but it is amazing. see more at this link:
Hello there everyone! Today I will teach you how to powder coat. Here is a quick summary of how it works:
