I stopped to watch it being unloaded while walking from the campground to the pits on Friday. Too bad I missed the laps.

I attended my first race when I was only months old and have seen many Nascar, Champ Car/IRL, Trans Am, and endurance races. I've been to Daytona, Indy, and Sebring. I've even crewed for an ALMS team. Nothing makes my hair stand on end and brings out the raw excitement of racing like watching a non wing sprint car

My late father and I started making the trip to the 12 hours together and eventually my mother and now wife started tagging along. Racing has always been in my family's blood, but
