Yes, but that’s not really the point. Her friend was killed because of her ex boyfriend's anger towards her decision to break off the relationship. This is a fear women face while dealing with controlling significant others. It is an unfortunately reality that we have to deal with.

I agree. I had the same takeaway from Serial. Maybe those guys are murderers, maybe they aren’t, but how on earth would a jury come away with no reasonable doubt? And WHY WHY WHY was the sheriff’s office still involved when they could have so easily turned everything over to the victim’s county law enforcement?!?! And…

I think Steven Avery may well BE guilty, but there was definitely a lot of shady stuff going on with law enforcement and the film makers didn’t make that up. Law enforcement should be held accountable for their corruption full stop.
