The best way I have found to break a habit is to break it when you make a life change: moving, changing jobs, new relationships Etc. When you make one change, it’s much easier to make other changes as well since you are already being forced to change your patterns.

You may also consider reporting the issue to the school league if the actual school doesn’t do anything.
