In my experience, the gym regulars are the ones that will leave people alone however the people just starting a fitness journey or a few months into it will make statements like that thinking that they are helping.

Pssh I am still rocking and original i phone 5 and it works great. Apple has long stopped supporting my phone but it keeps on trucking. Will likely upgrade when apps start forcing me to update my phone to use them
