Something a little fishy here. She's not looking at the woman in blue and gets asked a question, and she answers it knowing what the question was. She should have no idea how words sound like and it should sound like a foreign language to her....right?

The easy way I think of it is thinking of precision as repeatability. Throwing darts at a dart board and always hitting the double 1 is very precise but if I'm aiming for the bulls-eye pretty inaccurate.

Also, since the start and stop is a button press by a human, there's a TON of uncertainty going to be involved in the timing - even with a perfect watch.

Perhaps, but I don't buy that this can be seen from space with the naked eye necessarily - even the top photo you can tell is a composite using some sort of camera - but that's a different point altogether.

But that said, this is terrible and I hope that it can be resolved quickly.
