Agreed. Streets of Rage II holds up for me, but I tried replaying Golden Axe and found I only liked the steeds (especially the stumpy purple one). Didn't make it very far. Oh well!

Streets of Rage II was my jam. Played it about 3 years ago again (my Genesis still works) and I was surprised at how much harder it was than when I was a kid. However, the ending (and the ending music…hell, ALL of the music) is still golden.

…I too love 3EB. I always hate when an article about them pops up on the AV Club, because I have to read the comments and I feel so weird.

Someone else who wants to see Brendan Fraser come back? I thought I was the only one.

Agreed that Kat is the worst. I really dislike episodes where she's a prominent character.

Hey! I was super obsessed with Sonic the Hedgehog as a kid and thus REALLY GOT INTO CHILI DOGS too. I had never had one, and then just had to have them because it was Sonic's favorite food. That hedgehog had good taste (in food).

I'm a pretty big fan of their first two (and slightly less so the third) but the stuff they've put out in the past few years is pretty bad.

You know, that's the whole reason I consider the Godfather novel not-worthless, is the Luca Brasi thing. I so wish they had kept that in the film.

I'll stick with The Langoliers for my 'people disappearing and leaving their stuff behind on an airplane' needs.
