Or be allowed to slip a mickey into belligerent assholes’ drinks. “Hey buddy - this one’s on the house!”

If you’re not an asshole when sober, you’re unlikely to be an asshole while drunk.
Finding a place to stuff your bag on a crowded flight is clearly an agitator on flights. I see a lot of people get flustered over this. I would rather the airline raise everyone’s ticket price by $5-10 and offer “free” bag check to reduce this. Some people have short connections and want to keep their bag with them…
Seriously though, asian doctor doesnt wanna get out of his seat? Gets an assbeating and a broken arm.
This is outrageous. Where are the armed men who come in to take the reckless passengers away? Where are they? This kind of behavior should never be tolerated on airplanes. You shout like that, they put you in jail. Right away. No trial, no nothing. Anti-maskers? We have a special jail for anti-maskers. You are…
Plenty of people can have a drink or two or 18 and not turn into an asshole.
I don’t know why punching a flight attendant isn’t already a federal felony assault charge? Wouldn’t that carry significant jail time with it?
I bet the isolation of covid has a lot to do with this. People have spent so long in their online political belief-enforcing echo-chambers at home, they’ve forgotten how to interact with real people in the real world, and are converting miS-spELLed SHoUtINg In wEirD CapS into acts of physical violence, thinking that’s…
Why do people get aggressive and punchy when drunk? I just get giggly and stupid. Worst case scenario is telling a flight attendant a really bad joke and laughing for an hour.
Happens all the time, especially on bottom-feeder Euro airlines serving vacation destinations. Ryanair and the like.
Exactly. Air travel is not a right. Abuse that privilege, lose it. No fly list for every one of these chucklefucks.
It has found that local police often interview passengers for alleged bad behavior then releases them without charges of any kind.
The Federal Aviation Administration is asking for authorities to criminally charge reckless passengers and for airports to stop serving to-go alcohol.
My non-starter idea is to have the passenger compartment separate from the airplane so that all seating and putting bags in place and so forth is done at the gate, long before the plane arrives, giving plenty of time to eliminate the jerks.
You see less of this in First Class because there are fewer people in first class. The rate of drunk abusive jerks is about the same no matter where they are.
It seems as though a certain twice impeached dictator wannabe Florida retiree has set an example that you only have to follow the rules and laws that you want to and it is negatively impacting our society. As someone once said “Without rules there’s chaos.”
Just start throwing them out of the plane.
I TOTALLY agree with you on flights being miserable but that is the beauty of being able to pay for a better seat...
If every seat on the plane was the same as 1st class, I’d wager to say, most problems wouldn’t happen. However shoving people into a 16"-18" wide seat with 10" of leg room is their problems in the making. I’m always nice to attendants as I know their job sucks with dealing with cattle all day long, but really airlines…
My mother is an FA. I can tell you her working during covid times has been absolute hell on her. It’s like people took what tiny bit of awareness, manners, and general give a damn and threw it out on the tarmac. Just the other day she had to remove an entire family off a plane. Then watched as the mother physically…
