1989 Dodge D350 with a 6BT. It’s really slow, it doesn’t handle, and the brakes only sort of work, but it’s got a short straight pipe and you can hear the turbo spool up when you roll into the throttle and spool down again when you lift. Probably the biggest reason I still enjoy driving it.

I’ve been wondering for a while why everything is going to turbos. Surely a Chevy Sonic doesn’t need a turbo, especially if it’s still going to be slow (Recently somebody told me is that it was a good way to cheat gas mileage tests). And my next though is, if we don’t want turbo lag, but we want forced induction,

I never meant to imply that NRE wasn’t capable of building that engine, I just said I personally haven’t heard anything more about the project. Also, the Hemi, while awsome, still isn’t a 4 cam small block.

I honestly have no idea. At least from my fairly uneducated perspective, it seems like they weren't far off from a working prototype.

A few years ago NRE had a video of a 4 cam engine based on a small block chevy-ish aluminum block. The engine was in very early stages of development then and I really haven't heard anything else about it sense.

I actually like the car, I feel like the guy would get on my nerves real quick if I ever met him though. I also don't think he should be an example of any sort.

My parents' house sort of has the kitchen and living room as one big conjoined room, just the kitchen bit has linoleum instead of carpet. So basically there's a full set of couch and chairs and a TV in the kitchen.

That appears to have possibly been one of the last remaining un-cracked PT dashboards. I'm sure like 4 people care about that.

I don't know if they're actually going to use one, But that's an LS2 intake manifold in those pictures.

I suppose another angle is the standard "lets give the thing a confusing name so the internet people start asking questions about it on the internet"

I remember seeing a picture of a lifted Chevy from the 80s that said 4x4x4 in the grill. I believe that truck had 4 wheel steering. 4x4^2 could also be read as 4x4x4. So maybe this has 4 wheel steering too.

These digital gauges aren't exactly the stunts they tried to pull in the early 90s.

The problem with that last part is there aren't "loads" of Syclones to send over. I guess we can start selling you 4x4 S10s and S15s and you can start building clones.

I must humbly present, my 1991 Oldsmobile Bravada

I like the way the SS looks and would love to have one, Unfortunately I'm one of those internet commenters that wants a car to exist but isn't capable of buying it when it does.

The Buick GSX used a different Buick V8, and I think that Wagoneer may be new enough to have an AMC V8.

There appears to be a section of frame between the operators legs and the tracks

Lincoln and Cadillac both going to a lineup full of different sized sedans with 3 character names, except for these two full size leather and chrome packed SUVs which keep the names they've had since the 90s.

Now playing

They didn't rotate, they had a section of the grill that would fold down over the lights when they were off.

You mean I was supposed to read something into that line more than that the ramp on the right looked a bit crooked?
