Those wheels are starting to be my favorite thing about french cars.

I know a guy who really thinks one needs to find a home in a 240Z,, possibly wearing some webers too.

Of course.

German platform with American body work powered by Italian engines........wat.

This probably won't happen because the Magnum didn't sell in enough volume to earn it's keep.

I agree, even though mine has a beam axle under the front.

My mom had an '89 Grand Wagoneer a few years ago, it's only major downfall at the time was the 360's appetite. I think it got 6mpg most days. Road pretty nice despite the leaf sprung solid axles at both ends.

I always preferred that wheel to the M3 wheel. Also I've never seen a tractor with an air bag, stop using pointless comparisons that don't make sense.

This is exactly what I thought of as soon as I read "surveillance mode".

I feel this has probably already been mentioned, but the Impala isn't quite out yet either. The Barren County (Kentucky) sheriffs department here still uses the last two generations of Impala. As well as several Escapes, Explorers, and the old Crown Vics.

Why should it have been a 2-d00r? So nobody would buy it and it would flop?

Exactly what's wrong with the idea of a usable vehicle that is fun to drive?

Still looking forward to seeing this on the back of a new mustang.

I really don't think they'll have to, a friend of mine has a ZJ and I doubt he'll actually take it in for the inspection. A lot of other owners will probably do the same.

Anyone else see a 5 door hatch here instead of a wagon? Look at the proportions of the rear end, the back doors end almost at the rear of the car, so little to no space in the back for wagon things.

I for one welcome our van bearing overlords.

From what I can tell, the tanks on our XJs are more protected by the rear bumper. Also I'm not sure if this was common, but mine has a skid plate around the tank.

I believe these had a few interesting problems. Like the turbine lagging, causing the inexperienced driver to do something stupid and wreck. Very hot exhaust coming out the back, burning paint off the car behind you in traffic. I think the engine was also quite thirsty as well. However, the lag problem would mostly be

I must admit, the one time I drove my aunts PT cruiser, I backed into a Grand Am in a parking lot. I had never done this before. At the time I had a 1989 Dodge D350 dually, and had frequently driven my dad's Suburban. How exactly could I not get this small hatchback out of the parking lot unscathed? Probably because

Did they ban the Fox Body for a similar reason? I really don't follow FD until something like that comes up.
